This is such a great casual spot on the water! The prices are reasonable, the food is great and the service was exceptional this time around. We had the fried green tomato appetizer- if you love blue cheese, you are in for a treat! All of the flavors go perfectly together. I had the blackened reddish dinner. The portion size is huge, it was very flavorful and was cooked perfectly. I will say that I prefer my squash cooked through, but I just took it home and cooked it with another dish. My mom got a fried fish platter. Her fish was crispy and not overly greasy. The key lime pie was very likely the best I've ever had. The server (sorry I can't remember her name!) provided perfect service. She could answer questions, was available but didn't hover and I could see her multitasking. I told her that I could see how she takes pride in her work. The manager stopped by to check on us as well. We will be back.

We popped in for dinner and were able to grab an outside table with no wait. Although it's river front, it was a hot evening, so we were especially grateful for the numerous fans keeping a steady breeze throughout the patio area. Our server, Emma, was friendly, helpful, and attentive from start to finish. After ordering, our food came out fresh, hot, and surprisingly fast. We ordered: the Plantation Key Chicken and two shrimp baskets (one blackened and the other grilled). The portions were larger than expected and everything tasted delicious. The real table favorite, though, was the hush puppies served with guava butter. Absolutely drool worthy. Overall, we'd highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Ok just did a To Go order but still was impressed. We were staying at the Kingfisher Burrow (Look that up when you get a chance) and between rainstorms we decided to get dinner here. We all played it safe and ordered burgers, the Buffalo chicken sandwich and conch fritters. Pulled up by boat was in and out super quick between storms. The place looked like it would have been great to just hang out and enjoy a meal. Burgers were cooked to request and done correctly. Conch fritters were great too. The buffalo chicken sandwich was more than I asked for with 2 large pieces of chicken (saved one for a midnight snack) but overall was impressed! 🤙🏼🎨🎣

Dang talk about a nice place to kick your feet up after a long week of working hard and making your family a nice living. What better way to spend that hard earned cash than on oysters, fish and rice and beans?! I didn’t think so.

The Old Fish House Restaurant in Florida is fantastic! We have gone several times over the years when we visit the beach. They are on the water. There is a boat dock. It has chairs & tables to enjoy the water view. They have expanded their garden seating. It’s a huge area now. Seating outside is gorgeous! Makes for such a special evening. Catering is available- any size party can be handed— large to a couple. We have gone just the two of us to a large group. It’s all good. Their service is always the best. They have a large menu with so many choices. We have many of their entrees over the years. They have live music most evenings too. There are little gift shops on site now too. It’s a fun outing. Visit them soon.
